Your lived experiences, identities and full humanity should be honored in the spaces you show up in.

Recent population studies have shown that virtually all of us have a lived experience of trauma and toxic stress.

So why wouldn't we equip ourselves with the knowledge, skills and tools to ensure we resist harm and center empathy?

Trauma-informed care is an approach that promotes trust, personal safety and autonomy and it’s an approach available to us all.

Even if trauma is not relative to your work, trauma is a reality of our everyday lives.

I’m Katie Kurtz, a subject-matter expert and professional trainer, who’s mission and passion is to support leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals like you on your journey to becoming trauma-informed.

We need trauma-informed leaders.

We are in a pivotal time where more than ever, people are talking about trauma to the point that people call it a buzzword.

But trauma is not a buzzword. It's a genuine and life-shifting response people have.

Unfortunately, when we make it buzzy, we dismiss and minimize the lived experiences of others.

As trauma-informed care enters new industries, we must have an inclusive and adaptable approach for professionals to access.

Trauma-informed care is non-negotiable if you work with humans in any professional role.

You don't need to have experienced trauma to receive trauma-informed care. It benefits us ALL.

We can't ignore the realities of individual and collective experiences that intersect every aspect of our lives, personally and professionally.

Everyone, in some way, has felt the impact of the accumulation of stress and adversity heightened by the historical trauma of a global pandemic.

We're uniquely positioned to ensure our spaces, companies, and communities adopt a trauma-informed lens to honor these realities.

Not just to recognize and resist further stress or harm but also to promote community care and healing in all its forms.

When people can feel a sense of safety, trust and connection in your presence and in your space, then they can access more possibilities to be, do, feel, learn and create.

In this podcast, we will explore and be energized by the boundless possibilities that come with applying trauma-informed care..

This podcast is for anyone who wants to access safety, build trust and foster belonging in all the spaces where they exist.

Join me and guests each week to have conversations that educate and inspire.

A trauma-informed future happens when we come together to create it-I can’t wait to get started!
